LCC Donates Relief Goods to Yolanda Survivors

donationBicol’ s top retailer and mall operator, LCC has donated relief goods to the Yolanda survivors in Tacloban City. The donations were composed of 10 boxes containing 500 pcs. of new blankets and 36 sacks of sorted out used clothings.

In simple turnover ceremonies held on January 16, 2014 at LCC Mall Legazpi, the LCC Foundation, Inc. released the donations through Ms. Rhardz Barcia of the Manila Times and the Philippine Air Force (PAF) Tactical Operations Group 5 led by Major Arvin Joel Buan.

The turnover was also attended by LCC Safety & Security Consultant Rolando Esguerra, LCC Mall Operations Manager Emmalyne Goyena, LCC Media Relations Consultant Edgar Alejo and Marketing  Staff Jomar Paguio and John Gabriel Gallano.
According to Col. Esguerra, the relief goods came from the LCC employees who deeply sympathized and extended their share to help the typhoon survivors in the Visayas recover from the devastation brought by Super Typhoon Yolanda in November.
Ms. Barcia, in her brief message lauded LCC for the humanitarian efforts to the needy typhoon victims as she hoped that similar tie up programs be carried out in the future.

Social Worker Violeta Bedar of the LCC Foundation, Inc. served as facilitator and master of ceremonies.
