LCC Joins TADA:Walk for the Poor, Walk with the Poor

LCC Mall employees participated in the very successful Annual Walk for Life last February 21, 2015. This year, the event embodies the theme, “TADA: Walk for the Poor, Walk with the Poor” in line with the 2015 celebration on the Year of the Poor, sponsored by the Diocesan Pastoral Council. The event started with a mass at 5 a.m. at the Albay Cathedral and ended with a Zumba at Our Lady of The Gate Parish.

TADA, which stands for “Tanganing an Dukha Atamanon”, is the Diocese’s flagship anti-poverty program that aims to increase awareness to the realities of poverty in midst and to raise funds to respond to the poor. Proceeds will go to H.E.L.P.E.D. Anti-Poor Program of the Diocese.

Like what the priest reiterated in the homily, this event doesn’t only aims for the belly fats to be gone, but it also aspires to lessen the fats in our hearts that became barrier to reach for the poor.
