LCC Malls Celebrated Chinese New Year



Gong Xi Fa Cai! That’s the greeting of everyone last February 19 to finally welcome Chinese New Year. The important Chinese festival, which is also known as the Spring Festival, marks the start of new life and the season of plowing and sowing.

LCC Malls highlighted Chinese New Year through its mall lantern decors. The traditional lanterns, which have become a well-known symbol of China, are hanged in LCC’s atriums and ceilings.

2015 Horoscope Forecast for the year of the Green Wooden Goat was also displayed and let the customers ride the time-machine to know every possible way to amend their fortune in 2015. Good luck charms and Chinese decor ornaments were exhibited at LCC Department Store’s Little China Shop to bring wealth and good health.

LCC Malls took a short trip to China and relieved the Chinese culture last Chinese New Year’s Eve by performing Chinese Cultural Dance.













The colorful history of China was also showcased thru Lion Dance, which is usually performed to chase away ghosts and evil spirits. The lions blessed the stores inside LCC Malls for good luck and abundance of everything in the coming year.
